Longfellow Community Center

Welcome to Longfellow Community Center

A community center is more than just a building; it is a public gathering place designed to bring people together, foster personal growth, and provide essential support. It serves as a "third space"—somewhere outside of home and work where neighbors can connect, learn new skills, and access vital services that improve their quality of life.

At Longfellow, we believe that a strong community is built on shared resources and inclusive spaces. Whether you are looking for educational support, recreational activities, or a helping hand, we are here to serve as your local hub for connection and empowerment.

What We Offer

While we are proud to call the Hazel Park School District home, our doors are open to our neighbors in the surrounding communities as well. Longfellow is a place where every generation can find something of value:

  • Diverse Resources: From youth programs and adult education to health and wellness initiatives.

  • A Shared Space: A safe, welcoming environment for meetings, celebrations, and collaborative projects.

  • Connection: A bridge between local families and the specialized services they need to thrive.

Longfellow isn't just a center—it’s a community-driven mission to ensure no neighbor has to navigate life’s challenges alone.
